New friends, and new walls

Our new friend, Manley! :) We've been walking him every morning as a service for a ward member (who broke her shoulder). He's so sweet!

#Fail

It was the nastiest thing ever. I attempted to make hootenannies (or oven pancakes) and accidentally messed something up... not sure what it was... But they tasted horrible.

Haha, I'm glad I'm learning this now. But my poor companion (who happens to be from the place that makes the best food ever) had to deal with it!

We got heart attacked! Our amazing zone sisters from Jonesboro snuck these hearts into our laundry area. :) It was a pleasant surprise. :)

Super cool wall that has been painted! I love all the creativity out here! :)

The sky a few nights ago was spectacular! Too bad my camera couldn't capture it completely.

We had a super cool ward activity this past Friday! It was a multi-cultural potluck dinner. We have a ward full of very diverse cultures, and we wanted to celebrate it! So everyone brought different foods from the places they've been around the world, and they dressed in their traditional outfits. It was fantastic and a great turnout! (Not to mention, the food... mmmm... heavenly!)

Ahh, the joys of being sick on a mission! A bug's been going around lately. It's just a head cold, but it's not fun! I'm so glad that we're almost over it! Yesterday we went home from church to nap... and ended up sleeping from 5pm to 9pm... It was crazy but amazing and we feel way better now!
